Volvo EX30 MY2027 Update Brings Lower Pricing and New Trim Nomenclature to Malaysia
Volvo Cars Malaysia has announced updated pricing and trim configurations for the EX30 compact electric SUV for the 2027 model year. The refresh includes a significant price reduction on core variants and a rebranding of the premium trim levels to better align with the brand's evolving lineup.
The MY2027 Volvo EX30 sees a notable price drop, with the primary variant now set at RM198,888. This adjustment marks a RM10,000 decrease from the previous one-motor Ultra variant, significantly enhancing its value proposition within the competitive local EV segment. To further attract buyers, Volvo is also offering promotional rebates of up to RM10,888.
Alongside these pricing changes, the brand has restructured its variant naming and availability. The previously available Ultra trim has been officially renamed to the P5 Long Range. Furthermore, the high-performance two-motor Ultra Twin Performance, formerly priced at RM228,888, has been phased out and replaced by the recently launched EX30 Cross Country, which is positioned at RM218,888.
