Volvo has announced updated pricing and specification changes for the EX30 2027 model year in Malaysia. The compact electric SUV sees a notable price reduction for its premium offering, alongside a strategic rebranding of its available trim levels.
The MY2027 Volvo EX30 is now priced at RM198,888, marking a RM10,000 decrease from the previous one-motor Ultra variant. This move positions the premium compact SUV more aggressively within the competitive Malaysian EV landscape, making the brand's entry-level electric offering more accessible to consumers.
In addition to the pricing update, Volvo has streamlined the EX30 lineup by discontinuing the high-performance two-motor Ultra Twin Performance. The remaining Ultra trim has been officially rebranded as the P5 Long Range, signaling a refined focus on range-optimized premium specifications for the upcoming model year.
