Volvo has refreshed the EX30 lineup for the 2027 model year in Malaysia, introducing a more accessible pricing structure for its premium offerings. The update features a significant price reduction for the core Ultra trim and a streamlined model range designed to better suit local market demands.
The most notable change for the MY2027 Volvo EX30 is the revised pricing for its single-motor configuration. The Ultra variant is now available from RM198,888, representing a RM10,000 decrease from the previous model's entry point. This price correction aims to bolster the compact electric SUV's competitiveness within the rapidly evolving Malaysian EV landscape.
Alongside the cost reduction, Volvo has restructured its trim availability by discontinuing the high-performance RM228,888 two-motor Ultra Twin Performance model. As part of this strategic realignment, the sole remaining Ultra variant has been rebranded as the P5 Long Range. This nomenclature shift suggests a renewed emphasis on driving range and efficiency as the primary selling points for the EX30 in the region.
