Volvo has introduced updated pricing for the EX30 2027 model year in Malaysia, offering a more aggressive entry point for the compact electric SUV. The update includes a strategic rebranding of the sole Ultra variant and a restructured model lineup to better align with market demand.
The MY2027 Volvo EX30 is now available starting at RM198,888, representing a notable RM10,000 reduction compared to the previous one-motor Ultra variant. Alongside this price adjustment, Volvo has updated its nomenclature, officially renaming the sole Ultra variant to the P5 Long Range. To further bolster its market position, the brand is also offering promotional rebates of up to RM10,888, significantly lowering the effective cost of ownership for the new model year.
This pricing restructure coincides with a broader reorganization of the EX30 range in the Malaysian market. The high-performance RM228,888 two-motor Ultra Twin Performance has been phased out, replaced by the recently launched EX30 Cross Country, which carries a price tag of RM218,888. This shift indicates Volvo's intent to refine the EX30's lineup by balancing accessibility with the enhanced versatility offered by the new Cross Country trim.
