Volvo EX30 Gets Price Cut and Trim Updates for MY2027 in Malaysia
Volvo has refreshed the EX30 lineup for the 2027 model year in Malaysia, introducing more competitive pricing for its compact electric SUV. The update includes a significant price reduction for the primary model and a reorganization of the available trim levels to better suit market demands.
The MY2027 Volvo EX30 is now priced starting at RM198,888, marking a RM10,000 decrease from the previous one-motor Ultra variant. This strategic price adjustment aims to lower the barrier of entry for premium electric mobility, making the EX30 an even more aggressive contender in the local EV segment.
Alongside the pricing update, Volvo has restructured its trim nomenclature and model availability. The high-performance RM228,888 two-motor Ultra Twin Performance variant has been phased out, while the sole remaining Ultra variant has been officially renamed to the "P5 Long Range." This shift suggests a brand focus on prioritizing range-optimized configurations for Malaysian drivers.
