Volvo has announced updated pricing and a restructured variant lineup for the EX30 for the 2027 model year in Malaysia. The compact electric SUV sees a notable price cut, making its premium single-motor configuration more accessible to local buyers while simplifying the model's offerings.
The MY2027 Volvo EX30 undergoes a strategic price adjustment, with the single-motor variant now retailing at RM198,888. This represents a RM10,000 reduction from the previous pricing of the one-motor Ultra model, positioning the EV more aggressively within its segment. This price revision aims to bolster the model's appeal as Volvo continues to expand its electric footprint in the Malaysian market.
Beyond the price change, Volvo has also implemented significant updates to its trim nomenclature and product availability. The previously offered Ultra variant has been renamed the P5 Long Range, which now serves as the sole available trim in this specific tier. Furthermore, the high-performance two-motor Ultra Twin Performance, which was formerly priced at RM228,888, has been removed from the Malaysian lineup, resulting in a more streamlined and focused product range for the EX30.
