Jetour is seeing unprecedented interest for its upcoming T2 i-DM, which has already secured 2,137 bookings ahead of its official Malaysian launch tomorrow. The plug-in hybrid SUV is poised to make a significant impact on the local automotive landscape following a highly successful pre-order period.
The surge in demand began when order books opened during the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026 on June 11. Since then, the T2 i-DM has maintained a consistent pace of interest, averaging more than 21 orders per day. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, designed to offer a sophisticated balance of performance and fuel efficiency.
With an estimated retail price of approximately RM169,000, the T2 i-DM is positioned to be a highly competitive contender in the regional SUV segment. This massive pre-launch volume signals a strong consumer appetite for electrified powertrains in Malaysia, setting a high bar for Jetour’s formal market entry tomorrow.
