Hyundai has officially confirmed that the Stargazer MPV will make its Malaysian debut on September 22. Marketed as a "WEhicle" designed to facilitate shared moments, the new model is set to bolster Hyundai's presence in the highly competitive multi-purpose vehicle segment.
The upcoming lineup is expected to offer a variety of configurations to suit different family needs, including the Style and Prime variants, alongside a specialized 6-seater X version. This tiered approach suggests Hyundai is aiming to capture a broad demographic, ranging from budget-conscious families to those requiring more premium interior flexibility.
Under the hood, the Stargazer will be powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), prioritizing smooth urban drivability and fuel efficiency. While official pricing has not yet been released, industry estimates suggest the lineup will start from approximately RM99,000, positioning it as a formidable contender in the local MPV market.
