Hyundai has officially expanded its Malaysian portfolio with the arrival of the Stargazer MPV. This Indonesian-sourced CBU model is positioned as a competitive family mover, aiming to challenge segment leaders such as the Mitsubishi Xpander and Perodua Alza.
The Stargazer lineup is divided into three distinct variants to cater to various budget and utility needs. The entry-level Style variant is priced at RM99,800, while the mid-spec Prime variant is offered at RM109,800. For those prioritizing seating flexibility and higher specifications, the range-topping six-seater variant is available at RM121,800.
Under the hood, the MPV is equipped with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine paired with a CVT transmission, prioritizing a smooth and efficient driving experience for urban commuting. To bolster its market appeal against rivals like the Toyota Veloz, Hyundai is also introducing an RV guarantee to address long-term resale value concerns. This launch marks a significant move for the brand as it seeks to capture a larger share of the highly contested Malaysian MPV segment.
