Bentley Unveils Torcal: The Luxury Brand's First Fully Electric Powerhouse
Bentley has officially debuted the Torcal, marking a monumental shift as the British luxury marque's first foray into fully electric vehicles. Following its initial teaser in July, the Torcal becomes the brand's fourth major model line, signaling a new era of electrification for the prestigious manufacturer.
Delivering a formidable performance profile, the Torcal is equipped with a high-output powertrain capable of producing up to 888 PS and a staggering 1,350 Nm of torque. The vehicle measures 5,008 mm in length, providing a substantial road presence that aligns with Bentley's heritage of commanding grand tourers. To ensure long-distance capability remains uncompromised, the Torcal offers an estimated WLTP-rated range of up to 600 km.
To complement its high-performance credentials, the Torcal supports ultra-fast DC charging of up to 400 kW, designed to minimize downtime for the discerning driver. This advanced charging architecture is a critical component in Bentley's strategy to merge traditional luxury with cutting-edge electric technology. As the brand's inaugural BEV, the Torcal serves as a pivotal cornerstone for Bentley's future roadmap toward a fully electrified lineup.
