Proton has officially unveiled the refreshed X50 2025, Malaysia’s favourite B-segment SUV, with enhancements in both performance and technology aimed at maintaining its competitive edge.

The new X50 now comes with an upgraded 1.5L TGDi engine that produces 185 PS and 300 Nm of torque — a slight bump from its predecessor. Proton has also improved NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) levels, offering a quieter and more refined driving experience.

Inside, the SUV gets a revamped 10.5-inch infotainment display with a faster GKUI 3.0 system, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, and enhanced voice command features. Safety has also been improved with updated ADAS, now including rear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring.
