Isuzu Malaysia has further cemented its position as Malaysia’s second-best-selling pick-up brand for 1H 2025, thanks to sustained demand for the Isuzu D-Max.
From January to June 2025, a total of 3,081 units of the Isuzu D-Max were sold nationwide, giving the company a 16% market share in the pick-up segment.
One of the best-selling Isuzu D-Max variants is the 1.9-litre 4×4 Auto Premium, which commanded an impressive 18.6% of total sales. Said variant also entered the Malaysian Book of Records for the longest distance travelled with one tank of diesel.

CEO of Isuzu Malaysia Tomoyuki Yamaguchi said, “The results achieved this year reaffirms the trend we have observed since last year when pick-up truck enthusiasts and passenger car converts alike have discovered the benefits of owning and driving these highly capable Isuzu D-Max trucks. We hope to continue appealing our product benefits in the second half of the year while ensuring positive experiences for our customers.”
