It appears that the 2025 Lexus RX 500h F Sport Edition has quietly landed in Malaysia, as revealed by a Facebook posting by Lexus Malaysia.
Fully imported (CBU) from Japan, the 2025 Lexus RX 500h F Sport Special Edition is priced from RM 512,888, marking a RM 4,000 premium over the RX 500h F Sport.
What’s new on the 2025 Lexus RX 500h F Sport Special Edition?

Setting the Special Edition apart from the regular F Sport (Can you actually call the F Sport regular?) is the blacked-out exterior, thanks to the Graphite Black paint job and Black Sport Package – the latter blacks out the silver and chrome bits on the exterior, giving the Special Edition a menacing look.
Other unique touches exclusive to this special edition include:
- 21-inch split-5-spoke black alloy wheels
- Piano Black side fins and side sill fins
- Piano Black front and rear bumper accents
- F Sport illuminated scuff plates
- F Sport projection courtesy lights on the front doors

Inside, the 2025 Lexus RX 500h F Sport Special Edition is identical to the regular F Sport, including the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 14-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 21-speaker Mark Levinson premium surround sound system, suede upholstery with Kageri L-pattern embossing, and automatic tri-zone climate control with rear air vents.

Mechanically, the 2025 Lexus RX 500h F Sport Special Edition retains the same turbocharged 2.4-litre petrol engine that outputs 275 PS at 6,000 rpm and 460 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The ‘h’ in the model’s name indicates that the model is a hybrid, and in this case, the RX 500h F Sport gets an electric motor that does 87 PS and 292 Nm that’s sandwiched between the engine and transmission. There’s also a rear-mounted electric motor (the eAxle) that adds another 103 PS and 169 Nm, allowing for a combined system output of 371 PS and 550 Nm.

These performance figures mean that the 2025 Lexus RX 500h F Sport can complete the century sprint in just 6.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 210 km/h. At the same time, the hybrid system helps to lower fuel consumption, as the RX 500h sips just 6.5L/100 km under the NEDC test cycle.
Be quick – the 2025 Lexus RX 500h F Sport Special Edition is limited to just 50 units.
