Portugal’s Mototrofa has emerged victorious at the 2026 Honda Customs competition with their striking "Mugen" build. The heavily customized Honda CB750 Hornet secured both the "Battle of the Twins" and the "On-Road" titles following a decisive public vote.
The "Mugen" project, a masterclass in bespoke engineering based on the Honda CB750 Hornet, captured the imagination of the global enthusiast community. Out of a total of 42,119 votes cast during the competition, Mugen garnered 10,092 votes—representing nearly 24% of the total tally. This overwhelming support propelled the build, crafted by Portuguese Honda dealer Mototrofa, to the top of the leaderboard, securing its status as the overall winner.
While Mugen dominated the on-road segment, the competition also recognized excellence in specialized riding disciplines. Italy’s Saharja took home the prestigious title in the Off-road category, showcasing the diverse customization potential within the Honda lineup. The 2026 Honda Customs event continues to serve as a premier global stage for highlighting the creativity and technical skill of Honda's international network of builders.
